Questions

Short answers, before you call

How is the price decided?

By the size of the house, how much is still in it, how long since it was cleaned and which rooms you want done. We write the quote after the walk-through and it holds unless the house turns out different from what we both saw.

What happens at the first visit, and how long is it?

Fannie walks the house with you for thirty to forty-five minutes, in person or on video. You show us what's staying, what's going and what isn't ours to touch, and we write it down.

Do I need to be there? How do you handle keys and alarms?

For the walk-through, you or someone from the family. After that, a lockbox code or a hand-off is enough. Alarm codes come by text on the day and we ask you to change them afterward.

Who comes to the house, and are they background-checked?

The same three people every time: Fannie, Bartosz and Joselyn. Ask Fannie what checks we've done and she'll tell you.

Are you insured? Can I get a certificate?

Yes. Our general liability insurance covers damage to a home while we clean it. We'll send a certificate to you, the attorney or the realtor on request.

What if something is missed, broken or missing?

Tell Fannie within two days. If it's on the signed list, we come back and fix it. If we broke something, we repair or replace it. The policies page has the terms.

What do you bring, and what products do you use?

Our own supplies and equipment, including a vacuum with a filter. If someone in the family is sensitive to fragrance, tell us and we'll use fragrance-free products.

What if we find something valuable, or something that's hard to look at?

We stop, leave it where it is and photograph it. We text you and wait. We don't decide what it is or where it goes.

Do you haul furniture or run estate sales?

No. We clean. If a hauler or an estate-sale company is coming, we plan around their day and can clean after them.

Do you work in a house with a lot of belongings, or one with mold?

Not a crowded or hoarded house, and not one with mold or pests. We'd tell you at the walk-through and say who to call.

Still wondering?

Call Fannie. If she doesn't have the answer, she'll find out and call you back.
